Mountain
Watch was inspired by Robert Brannon who has spent his life
working to enrich the lives of the residents of Haywood County
through protecting the environment and working with local government
to provide services and environmental stewardship.

Watch is a unique development because the developer Lasley Construction
Company, Inc. is taking advantage of the latest technology,
training and education so that there is minimal impact to the
environment through planning design and "allowing the land
to determine" where the roads go and the lot lines are
drawn. Natural springs, creeks and streams were carefully protected
as part of the beautiful surroundings created by nature including
hardwood and softwood trees, rhododendron groves, wildflowers
and an array of creatures. Butterflies abound and birds will
gently awaken you as you rise to the splendor of your relaxing
surroundings.

to Downtown Waynesville or central Maggie Valley you are at
once away from it all and close enough to enjoy the benefits
of small towns with shopping, dining, entertainment and recreation.
